Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC
By accessing this website or enrolling in services with Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to ensure clear expectations and a positive, professional experience for all families.
Services Provided
Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC provides individualized, evidence-based literacy instruction for students, including those with characteristics of dyslexia. Instruction is delivered using structured literacy approaches aligned with best practices for reading intervention.
Services are educational in nature and do not constitute medical, psychological, or legal advice. Participation in services does not establish a clinical or therapeutic diagnosis, nor does it replace services provided through a public school.
Alignment with Texas/TEA Expectations
Instructional practices are informed by evidence-based standards consistent with guidance from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Dyslexia Handbook. Services are designed to support reading development but do not guarantee student outcomes or eligibility for special education or Section 504 services.
Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC operates as an independent private provider and is not affiliated with any public school district. Services do not replace a Full and Individual Initial Evaluation (FIIE) or other evaluations conducted by a school district under state or federal law.
PDSES (Parent-Directed Special Education Services) Participation
Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC is an approved PDSES provider. Families choosing to utilize PDSES funds are responsible for ensuring compliance with all program requirements established by the Texas Education Agency.
The parent/guardian is responsible for submitting documentation for payment or reimbursement through the PDSES platform.
Approval of services, reimbursement, and continued eligibility is determined solely by the PDSES program and is not guaranteed by the provider.
All services are subject to the policies outlined in this agreement regardless of funding source.
TEFA (Texas Education Freedom Accounts) Participation
Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC may serve families utilizing Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA), if and when available and approved by the state.
Families are responsible for understanding and complying with all TEFA program requirements.
The provider will supply documentation of services as needed; however, submission, approval, and reimbursement are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Payment for services remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian unless and until funds are approved and disbursed through TEFA.
Participation in TEFA does not alter or override the policies outlined in this agreement.
Scheduling and Attendance
Sessions are scheduled in advance and reserved specifically for your child. Consistent attendance is essential for student progress.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
Tardy Policy
Sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time.
For 30-minute sessions: arrival more than 10 minutes late will be considered a cancellation.
For 60-minute sessions: arrival more than 20 minutes late will be considered a cancellation.
In these cases, the full session fee will still apply.
Make-Up Session Policy
Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are offered at the discretion of Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC based on availability.
Sessions canceled with proper notice may be eligible for a make-up session.
Late cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for make-up sessions.
Make-up sessions must be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe and may not be carried forward indefinitely.
Weather and School Closure Policy
Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC follows the Denton ISD calendar. If Denton ISD is closed for any reason (including holidays, inclement weather, or emergency closures), services will also be canceled.
Additional closures may occur due to unsafe conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Families will be notified as soon as possible.
Payment Policy
Payment is due as agreed upon at the time of booking or invoicing. Failure to make timely payment may result in suspension of services until the account is current.
Confidentiality and Records
All student information is handled in a confidential manner consistent with applicable privacy laws and professional standards. Educational records created by Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC are maintained securely.
Records may be shared with schools or other professionals only with written parent/guardian consent, unless required by law.
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents/guardians agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Ensure timely attendance
Communicate relevant updates or concerns
Support consistency in participation
Intellectual Property
All instructional materials and resources are the intellectual property of Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC and may not be copied or distributed without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
While high-quality, individualized instruction is provided, specific academic outcomes are not guaranteed. By participating in services, you agree to release and hold harmless Green Dyslexia and Literacy/Literary Services, LLC from any claims or liabilities arising from participation.
Consent for Services
By enrolling in services, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees that:
They understand the nature and purpose of the services provided
Services are supplemental and do not replace school-based or legally mandated services
They have had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification
They consent to their child’s participation under the terms outlined in this agreement
Consent may be withdrawn at any time in writing; however, all scheduled sessions remain subject to the policies outlined above.
Changes to Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of any revised terms.
